Respite care is temporary facility care of a dependent elderly, ill, or handicapped person, providing relief for their usual caregivers.

Respite Care can be provided by –

• In Home Care agencies – 1 day to indefinite
• Memory Care – generally 1 week to 30 days
• Assisted Living – generally 1 week to 30 days

Who Needs Respite Care

For any caregiver who needs a temporary break for any or all of the following:

• A temporary break for self-rejuvenation and replenishment
• When the caregiver needs to travel out of town
• Needing to stop due to their own medical issues
• Or for any other myriad of reasons
